Mia Liu
Born in Taiwan, China in 1980, Mia Liu holds a bachelor’s degree in art from the San Francisco Institute of Art and studied at the Hunter College of the City University of New York. Known for her works on paper, created with ink and acrylic pigments, her works have been exhibited in major art galleries and art spaces in China and overseas, including the National Art Museum of China, National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, the IT (Yi Tong) Park in Taipei, the White Rabbit Gallery in Sydney, Australia, the Ludwig Museum of Contemporary Art in Budapest, Hungary, the CODA Museum in the Netherlands, the Esplanade in Singapore, the Asian Art Biennale, and so on. In 2016, Mia Liu was shortlisted for the Sovereign Asian Art Prize Finalist in Hong Kong, China.
