Molly Gochman

Molly Gochman is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the passage of time, human connection, and the marks we leave on the world. Rooted in sculpture, installation, and social practice, her art invites viewers to pause and reflect on the often-overlooked details of life—whether it’s the erosion of a surface, the remnants of a worn object, or the invisible labour that shapes our communities. For Gochman, time itself is a collaborator. Her works are designed to transform with it, bearing the traces of interaction and evolving with each encounter.

Driven by a deep sense of empathy and a desire to spark meaningful engagement, Gochman’s practice seeks to raise awareness of cultural and social issues. She uses her work as a platform to challenge indifference, encouraging a more compassionate and attentive world. By creating interactive and immersive experiences, she empowers viewers to move from observation to action—reminding them that every individual holds the potential to contribute to collective change.

At the heart of her art is an invitation to slow down, take notice, and embrace the fleeting beauty of the present. Whether through large-scale public sculptures or intimate, tactile pieces, Gochman’s works serve as catalysts for reflection—offering space for contemplation and inspiring new ways of seeing and being.
