Nabilah Nordin

Nabilah Nordin

Nabilah Nordin (b. 1991) is a Singaporean-Australian sculptor known for her unconventional approach to materiality and form. Her practice embraces an intuitive, process-driven exploration of materials, transforming everyday objects into whimsical, larger-than-life installations. She often works with found materials—scraps of wood, furniture, and construction debris—reassembling them into expressive compositions that challenge traditional sculptural aesthetics.

Nordin's work has been exhibited in major galleries and institutions across Australia and internationally. Her playful, immersive sculptures invite audiences to reimagine the potential of discarded objects, celebrating imperfection and spontaneity. Through her practice, she continues to push the boundaries of sculpture, creating pieces that are at once raw, experimental, and deeply engaging.
