#Bloom

GOLD COAST, AUSTRALIA

Daniel Templeman’s Bloom is situated within the parklands of the Gold Coast University Hospital in Australia. Emerging from a mound in the grass, Bloom functions to improve the experience of patients, staff and visitors, aiming to assist in the healing process.

In collaboration with Positive Solutions and project architects, UAP developed an integrated art program for the Gold Coast University Hospital. Based on the curatorial theme ‘Beyond the Facade’, the art program considers the true nature and characteristics of the land and community within the hospital and demystifies the clinical and medical practices behind the healing environment.
