Nike Savvas

Nike Savvas is an award-winning Australian artist, known for her immersive installations which utilise vivid colour and repeated geometric form. Echo is a suspended installation, located in the public thoroughfare at The Melbourne Residences, a new residential and retail development in the heart of Brisbane, Australia. The artwork adds vibrancy and liveliness to the adjacent retail and dining venues.

UAP has a long history of successful collaborations with Savvas. UAP collaborated with Savvas on Echo, which is comprised of 85 acrylic discs of various colours and opacities. The acrylic discs overlap to create a kaleidoscope of colour and a myriad of tonal mixes, offering a captivating experience that changes with the time of day.
