Torres Strait artist Alick Tipoti’s large-scale two metre bronze dugong, Kisay Dhangal, was unveiled at the Musée Océanographique de Monaco in March 2016.
Kisay Dhangal is an integral part of the significant survey of contemporary art surrounding environmental protection and cultural heritage. Australie/Australia: Defending the Oceans at the Heart of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island Art, was on view in Monaco for 6 months in 2016.
UAP is proud to have collaborated with internationally-renowned artist, Alick Tipoti, from Badu Island in the Torres Strait.
