55 Hudson Yards, designed by A. Eugene Kohn and Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, is a 1.3-million-square-foot office building located in the heart of Hudson Yards.
Designed by Schiller Projects and located within the new headquarters of legal firm Boies Schiller Flexner at 55 Hudson Yards, The Ribbons is a fluid central interior feature of the building that weightlessly flows from the ceiling and is experienced through multiple levels of the office.
As the manufacturing partner and design-construct delivery team for The Ribbons, UAP worked with the client to explore and assist in the design development and fabrication of the sculpture. The resulting installation creates a powerful visual impact that is both lightweight and substantial, unifying the central common areas across three stories.
