Melco Resorts & Entertainment

The interior space of level 30 of the newly completed Morpheus Hotel in Macau, China features an executive lounge from which the impressive top most void of the building can be experienced. The building, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects has vast and dramatic internal spaces and spectacular views both internally and of the surrounding city.

To populate these vast internal spaces and create areas of intimacy and privacy, UAP collaborated with Melco Resorts & Entertainment to develop and fabricate a series of five functional elements for the level 30 restaurant. Two dining booths, two dining pods and a screen were fabricated within strict time restraints, utilizing a team of fabricators and suppliers to achieve the creative vision outlined by Melco Resorts and Entertainment. 

Using a range of materials including aluminium, stainless steel and leather, the sculptural elements were expertly fabricated and installed using a combination of machine and hand-crafted techniques.
